How to install Oracle 10g in windows 8.1

Oracle Database 10g main installation window.  It shows

Basic Installation which contain following options

Oracle Home Location:

You can click on browse to install on other location. avoid selecting primary drive like c:\.

Installation Type:

Three different Installation types are available

• Enterprise Edition.
• Standard Edition.
• Personal Edition.

Prefer Enterprise Edition.

Starter Database:

You can create new database here. By default database name is orcl. 

Password:

type your desired password and remember it.

Advance Installation type option also available it include more option to customize your installation.
